iPazzPort KP-810-21 Keyboard Series Wireless Mini Keyboard/Touchpad Duo

Overview
Mini wireless keyboards have become increasingly popular, offering convenient control over a wide range of devices at a relatively low cost. Up until now, I had reviewed several keyboards in a specific layout, like the Rii i8+, with the touchpad at the top and the keyboard at the bottom.
I decided it was time to explore a different form factor and see whether there is a meaningful difference, or whether it is simply a design choice with no real impact on usability. The iPazzPort KP-810-21 Series offers exactly that kind of alternative layout, and that is what I set out to find out.

iPazzPort KP-810-21S — follows the classic layout with the touchpad at the top and keyboard at the bottom, similar to the Rii i8 and i8+. It connects wirelessly and works with Android TV boxes, Raspberry Pi, HTPCs, and similar devices.
iPazzPort KP-810-21TL — features a different physical layout inspired by gaming controllers, with added backlit keys, making it the more distinctive option in the series.
Both models are designed for the same use cases but offer a different experience in terms of design and ergonomics.
Inside the box
Pros
Reasonable Price Good value for a full wireless keyboard and touchpad combo at this price point.
Build Quality and Responsiveness Both the keys and touchpad respond well and feel solid. Nothing feels flimsy or poorly made.
Unique Design (KP-810-21TL) The TL model has a distinctive gamepad-inspired layout that sets it apart from typical mini keyboard combos. A refreshing alternative for those who want something different.
Cons
KP-810-21S is a Direct Copy of the Rii i8 The KP-810-21S is essentially identical in design to the Rii i8 and i8+. If you already own one of those, there is no reason to switch.
Minimal Packaging, No Printed Manual The KP-810-21S comes in a basic plastic package with no dedicated user manual. All the information is printed on the back of the packaging, which is not ideal if you need to reference it later.
Overall Verdict
The iPazzPort KP-810-21 series offers two distinct options. The KP-810-21S is essentially the same form factor as the Rii i8, with the touchpad on top and keyboard below. If you've used that layout before, this will feel immediately familiar. The KP-810-21TL takes a different approach, with a gamepad-inspired layout that positions the navigation controls differently and makes it feel more like a console remote than a standard mini keyboard.
Neither model is meant to replace your regular keyboard and mouse. These are situational tools, best suited for controlling a media box, smart TV, or a computer from the couch. Within that context, both perform well and represent good value for money.
Two solid budget options for media control. The S model is a familiar layout, the TL is more unique. Go with whichever is better priced at the time you are buying.
