The pros:
- Range – usually Bluetooth audio receivers offers a range of 10 to 30 meters. This specific receiver offers a much wider working area, as it can work up to 50-75 meters using a single receiver (and probably more than that if you’ll be using 2 receivers in “repeater mode” which is a feature that is also possible with this specific receiver).
Please note – I’m not sure what is the maximum distance it can work properly, but I can tell you that it worked for me with no flaws at all in a range of about 50 meters, including challenging obstacles such as walls, doors and different floors. - Audio quality – This
- Supports optical cable connection
- Additional accessories
- You can connect the receiver with 2 Bluetooth devices simultaneously to stream audio to this receiver
- You can extend the Bluetooth range by connecting 2 receivers to each other (I didn’t test this feature since I currently have only one device).
The cons:
- Price – This is the most expensive receiver I reviewed so far.
- Suitable for audio only – since this receiver doesn’t offer a built-in microphone, it’s not intended to make phone calls, like some other Bluetooth receivers.
- The receiver works only with a power source – It doesn’t have a built-in rechargeable battery, so it’s not a portable device. Unlike other similar receivers I reviewed that don’t offer a built-in rechargeable battery and yet were supplied with the relevant accessories for car use (i.e. cigarette socket charger), this one doesn’t come with any accessories to use it in your car.
