Design – Looks great! The design feels young and modern while still managing to be elegant (especially in black).
Display – Clear display with large digits, easy to read with or without the backlight.
Price – Very affordable.
Outer jog – Adds a unique design touch and makes a satisfying clicking sound, almost like a fidget toy, though it has no actual function.
Cons
Buttons location/placement – Since all buttons are on the right side, it takes time to get used to which one you’re pressing. It’s easy to confuse buttons that are placed right next to each other.

Overall, the SKMEI 1142 is a simple and affordable digital wristwatch that looks more modern and stylish than its price might suggest.
The clear display and comfortable design make it a nice choice for everyday use. The outer jog adds a fun, fidget-like design element with a satisfying clicking sound – even if it doesn’t serve any real function.

Is this watch suitable for water?
Water Resistant Watches are sealed to withstand some pressure.
Water resistance is tested in measurements of the atmosphere (ATM). Each ATM denotes 10 meters of static water pressure. This is not the depth to which a watch can be worn. Many watch cases will list the basic measurement of 1 ATM as “water-resistant.” These watches will withstand small splashes of water but should not be worn while washing the hands or submerging the hands in water.
Remember, water resistance is tested under static conditions. Wearing a watch that is 50 meters water resistant to water will expose the watch to a much greater pressure than during a 50-meter static test. Therefore the number of metres shown on the watch does not indicate the depth that the watch can be taken to.
50M = 5ATM = Shower Proof – it’s ok to get it wet a bit.
