That similarity is exactly what made me want to put these to the test, since it's sold at a fraction of the price of the name-brand version.
My goal was simple: figure out whether a "copycat" shoe like this can actually deliver satisfying performance, or whether the lower price comes with too many compromises. I put them through build quality, sizing accuracy, and real-world comfort during walking and running, to see if they're a viable budget-friendly alternative for anyone who isn't a world-class athlete in need of professional-grade gear.

The ONEMIX 1118 is built with a mesh upper, a rubber outsole, and a low-top, lace-up design. According to seller listings, the insole is made from EVA foam, and the outsole is described as a slip-resistant, patterned rubber sole. An air cushion unit runs along the outsole, which is the same feature that gives the shoe its Nike Air Max-inspired look.

Pros
Attractive Price These are affordable running shoes that make you wonder if there's any reason to pay more if you are an average runner.
Well-Constructed They don't seem to fall apart easily.
Comfortability Walking and running revealed surprisingly comfortable shoes, that hold the foot properly.
Cons
Finishing The outside shoe sole (the green/yellow bottom part) is made from a simple rubber. In my opinion, this is the biggest difference between these shoes to more expensive/professional running shoes.
Air Cushion's Durability When I walk and my foot stomps the ground, sometimes I feel from the outside part of the right shoe sole (the green area) some sort of a "pop". Imagine as if you walk and a small stone is stuck in your shoe sole that needs to be released. I am not sure if this is a problem with the specific shoe that I got, or if it says something about the durability of the air cushion (I will try to figure that).
Weight Each shoe weighs approx. 300 grams, so they are not light (for example, compared to the Nike Air Pegasus 34 that I reviewed).
Design This is a matter of personal taste, but the color combination wasn't my top pick for these shoes. I got them on sale, and this is what was available during the order.
Overall Verdict
The OneMix 1118 borrows its look from the Nike Air Max, but it earns its place on its own merits. Build quality and comfort surprised me, the sizing chart was accurate, and walking and running in them felt genuinely good. The finishing on the outsole and some question marks around the air cushion's long-term durability are the clearest reminders that this isn't a premium, professional-grade shoe, but at this price point, that's an easy trade-off to accept.
Affordable running shoes that deliver real comfort for everyday walking, running, and basic sports use. Unless you're a world-class athlete who needs professional-grade gear, the OneMix 1118 is a satisfying, budget-friendly alternative to expensive name-brand shoes.
