Transparent Bubble Pet Carrier Backpack Lightweight | Ventilated | Clear Window
Overview
Taking my rabbit anywhere is never a relaxed affair. The OVR Bunny does not like being moved, and every trip to the vet or any other ride I cannot avoid means a scared pet and a worried owner. I try not to take him out for no reason, but sometimes I have no choice, and then I want the ride to be as comfortable for him as possible.
Every option I had came with a catch. A big, heavy cage is a pain to carry around. A large box is a gamble, because he might jump out of it, or simply not feel comfortable inside. I do have the travel cage I use for my parrot, The OVR Bird (I reviewed it here), and with a towel inside it has worked for the bunny too. Still, I wanted something lighter and easier to carry.
That is when I started looking at pet carrier backpacks, and maybe one could even solve the same problem for my parrot. So I ordered this one, planning it for the bunny, and now I am going to find out whether it is really comfortable, reliable and safe to carry him in, and for him above all.

This is a bubble-style pet carrier backpack with a clear dome window, made from Oxford cloth and closed with a zipper. It is listed for cats and small dogs, and I bought it mainly to carry my rabbit.
The name MOORPET is embossed on the bag, but I did not get the impression that it is an established brand, so I treat this as a generic carrier. The AliExpress listing offers it in several colors, and I went with the solid grey.
According to the listing, the fabric is dirt resistant and dustproof, and the bag has ventilation openings and mesh on its sides.

Pros
Quality Bag It feels like a quality bag.
Light And Easy To Carry It is light and comfortable to carry around.
Animals Seem Comfortable I do not keep my animals in it for long, it is only for getting around. During that time they look comfortable in the bag.
Reasonable Price It is not a cheap bag, but for the price and for what it is meant to do, the price is reasonable.
Very Well Ventilated There are slits and mesh on all sides, so air gets in from everywhere.
Good View For The Animal The animal gets the clear window, plus slits and mesh on both sides, so it can see around.
Cons
Needs Adjustments For A Parrot This is not a dedicated bag for birds. A parrot needs a stick or perch to stand on, and the bag has to be lined, otherwise the droppings end up all over the inside.
A Parrot Will Chew It A parrot will eventually take the bag apart. That is simply what parrots do.
Overall Verdict
A great bag, comfortable for me and for my rabbit. I assume it will also suit other small pets such as small dogs, cats and other rodents, but I am judging it mostly by the rabbit, because that is what I planned it for and I am very happy with it.
For the parrot it is a solution when I have no choice, and that is fine. I am not complaining, but it is not a dedicated bag for birds. The one good thing is that the plastic is less likely to be taken apart by the parrot than in other carriers I bought for him.
A good, light carrier for a rabbit, and likely for other small pets. For a parrot, treat it as a backup that needs some adjustments.
