The pros:

Great sound – The EDIFIER R1280DB generates brilliant audio quality & volume level for a set of speakers this size. So far I managed to enjoy this sound experience only with larger audio systems, that took a lot of space.

These are verstaile speakers that are suitable for listening to music, watching movies or any other activity that you can come up with. And in each of the purposes I used them they sound great.

They cope well with high range and don’t suffer from distortion (at least not that I recall), while the bass is powerful but not “mechanical”. So the overall audio quality is very good.

If you will turn the volume level to the maximum, it can result complains from the people around you, so I believe most people will be satisfied with the volume level.

Before I puchased the EDIFIER R1280DB, I tried to settle for various portable Bluetooth speakers. But they usually offer inferior volume level and overall sound expernece.

Elegant design – Although the rectanguler design of the EDIFIER R1280DB isn’t eye-catching nor modern, they are compact and elegant.

The set is available either in black or brown, and both colors looks great.

Has a remote control – The remote control is basic, but is useful. It is effective in an open space or large room as long as there are no obstacles. Most of the time the speakers respond immidetaly.
