Nespresso Pixie & Aeroccino3 Compact espresso machine bundled with a standalone milk frother
Overview
The Nespresso Pixie and Aeroccino3 are not the newest products on the market, but this particular bundle caught my attention because of its price.
I wanted to find out whether picking up an older, no-frills bundle like this one is actually a wise decision compared to spending more on a newer Nespresso model.

- Pixie Espresso Machine & Aeroccino3 Bundle
- Type
- Capsule Espresso Machine + Milk Frother
The Pixie is one of Nespresso's compact original-line machines, running on the same fully automatic capsule system as the rest of the lineup: insert a capsule, press a button, and the machine does the rest.
According to the manufacturer, the Pixie runs at 1260 watts with a 19-bar pump pressure, the same pressure system shared across most Nespresso original machines, and it includes a rapid heat-up system that gets it ready in about 25 seconds.
The water tank holds 0.7 liters. In terms of footprint, the machine measures roughly 116.6mm wide, 234.6mm deep, and 324.2mm tall, and weighs about 2.48 kg.
The Aeroccino3, bundled alongside it, is a standalone milk frother rated at 550 watts. It can froth up to 4 oz. of milk, or heat up to 8 oz. of milk without frothing, and shuts off automatically once it's done.

Pros
Compact Size The machine fits perfectly on a small table.
Modern Design A modern, clean look.
Easy To Operate Straightforward to use, with no learning curve.
Excellent Coffee Generates excellent coffee.
Cons
Water Tank Is Hard To Release The water tank at the back is a bit difficult to release.
Tends To Spill Whenever I release either the water tank or the capsule bin, something almost always spills, which means extra cleanup afterward.
Overall Verdict
This bundle is a safe bet. There is nothing groundbreaking about it, the coffee itself is the same Nespresso coffee you get from any of their machines, but if you can find it as a good deal, it is worth going for without hesitation.
I personally like that the Aeroccino3 is a separate unit rather than built into the machine, since if a built-in frother breaks, you are stuck with a bigger problem.
If you want to make drinks like a cappuccino at home and don't particularly care about the latest features or differences in water tank size and design, this bundle is worth considering, as long as you find it at a good price.
A safe, no-frills choice: the same Nespresso coffee plus a separate milk frother, worth it if the price is right.
