The pros:
Price – This specific model is cheaper compared to the GUB G-85 bicycle smartphone holder that I already reviewed. The difference between the two models is almost unnoticeable to justify the price differentiation.
Excellent Grip – This mount has a very tight grip, so assuming you adjust it properly, it will hold your smartphone safe.
Durability – This mount is made from metal alloy, that is more durable. compared to plastic mounts.
Universal compatibility – It fits smartphones between 50 to 100 mm wide, so I believe it is suitable with almost every smartphone.
Colors variety – You can find this mount in various colors that looks really good.
Can be installed in at least 2 different ways – You can attach the mount/holder to the handlebar or the bicycle’s stem.
The cons:
Tight grip that requires padding your smartphone – The mount is supplied with padding stickers. I think the grip is too tight, and recommend to use it only with a smartphone that has a protective case.
This will avoid unwanted scratches and pressure on your device.
Make sure to place your smartphone correctly – If you won’t adjust the holder to the right size, then there’s always a chance your smartphone will detach and fall. It didn’t happen to me with this specific holder, and I think the grip is tight enough to keep your phone safe.
But, I would be calmer if it was supplied with a “smartphone butterfly band” to protect the smartphone from the front like other smartphone holders.
Doesn’t fit certain smartphone cases – Because I strongly recommend

A: The GUB G-85 is more expensive, and has a shorter “neck” compared to the GUB Pro 1 (so the gap between the smartphone and the crossbar is smaller).
